I ordered this book thinking it looked both interesting and humorous. As a Family Guy fan, I was not disappointed! I really enjoyed this book. The essays are witty, funny, and intelligent. There are references to the psychological and societal aspects of Family Guy as well.I read this book in two sittings. I just devoured it. If you are a Family Guy fan who just knows there's something more going on in the show THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU! These essays give so much insight and I couldn't have been more pleased with the essays themselves.
Ignore the reviewer who read 5 pages (why even review or buy the book for that matter?) and the reviewer who said the title is misleading (really?! READ the title!)
Get this book. It's fun and smart! Yeah I just called Family Guy smart. WHAT THE DEUCE!?!

I bought this book at Borders in 2009/10 just as it was closing down for good. I read it in 25 days. After reading it, I don't know if I want to keep it or give it away...
This book does make you thinking about the meaning of each member of the Griffin Family. So, if you see this at the bookstore, buy it and read it when you get home!
